Valden Medical LLC

We established our Honolulu office in 2002, specializing in the provision of a range of psychiatric education, prevention and treatment services, and consultation services, and conducting clinical research studies, primarily with investigational medications.  Over this time, we have participated in many educational, advocacy, community responsive, treatment and research activities designed to benefit individuals, families and the Hawaii community at large. Valden’s President, Denis Mee-Lee, MD, MS, DLFAPA has been Principal Investigator for over 350 studies in the last 25 years.

Currently, we are a team of independent but collaborative mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and advanced practice registered nurses. Building on the experience of clinical studies, members of the staff provide education on new psychoactive medications to statewide providers. There is also an important linkage to such community facilities as Adventist Health Castle, where Dr. Mee-Lee serves as Medical Director, Behavioral Health Services.

Valden is co-located with 5-Minute Pharmacy, Downtown which also includes primary and behavioral health care professionals to jointly provide a range of holistic services to patients within the one facility.
